About Hayley
Hayley Smith was born and raised in Marrietta GA and attended Auburn University, where she earned her degree in Political Science and Art History. After several years in the art world, she transitioned to a career in high-end advertising sales, where she learned powerful methods to market and advertise through social media and content-based branding. After finally settling in Charleston, Hayley fell in love with the city and this passion for the lifestyles of Charleston shines through in her work every day.
Hayley’s extensive skill-set and local knowledge pair well with her experience in relocating and orienting new arrivals to Charleston. Hayley is the consummate Charleston Ambassador, offering intimate local knowledge and professionalism to her clients in every transaction. Whether it be a five-year temporary move or a permanent relocation, she has helped countless families and individuals experience a smooth transition to the Lowcountry. Hayley’s philosophy is to actively engage her clients, determine their hopes, dreams, and expectations for their new life, and then tailor her work to find the best home to help them achieve the lifestyle they desire. She will also go above and beyond for her clients, previewing homes with video and pictures before the client arrives, and making sure that any and all of her client’s needs are met quickly and professionally.
Hayley also has experience navigating the tricky world of investment property in downtown Charleston. It takes a savvy and ever-present professional to capitalize on investment opportunities that sell extremely quickly, often with multiple bidders in our market. Speed and efficiency is the key to securing the perfect investment property, and she operates under this philosophy. She also works exceedingly well with first-time home buyers and has helped countless new homeowners qualify and close on their first home.
Hayley is heavily involved in the art, history, and cultural institutions and initiatives of Charleston and she takes part in Spoleto, The Gibbes Museum of Art, the 1858 Society, and The Charleston Preservation Society. She enjoys a good glass of Willamette Valley Pinot Noir paired with light Jazz and a screened porch, accompanied by her husband Evan, their young son Padraig, and two dogs, Henry and Ranger. Hayley truly loves every minute of her life in the Lowcountry and is passionate about sharing that love with others.
